“I have a very small wood burner and much prefer using bio-logs to traditional cut timber, which sometimes needs extra chopping to get it in the door. Bio-logs are more compact, thus easier to store; cleaner to handle and usually light by themselves without kindling using just newspaper. Also they seem to burn very hot. I can also feel smug that I’m helping to put all that waste sawdust to some practical use. In all – a great and cost effective product.”

Morning Tom,
A few comments on your bio logs.
I find Bio Logs to be an excellent supplement to hardwood logs for a wood-burning Rayburn. They are completely dry (not even a flicker on the damp metre). They ignite quickly and burn at a high temperature, with little or no creosote deposit. They break down on burning to give a hot, glowing heart to the fire for addition of normal hardwood logs (or coal). I use them in the cold winter to give a good start to the fire, especially for logs that are a bit damp (up to 20% water).
Kind regards
