At East Devon Firewood we can deliver to your door, mixed loads of hard wood and soft wood, seasoned logs in small bags or in bulk delivery using our pick up, please see photo right. We also offer a range of bio logs and products.

Dry firewood is essential in order to have an efficient, smooth running log burner or open fire. It is therefore necessary that the firewood has been properly prepared to allow it to have the best possible burn.

It is therefore important that the firewood logs are well seasoned. Any water contained within the logs when burning, must firstly be evaporated and this takes a rather surprising amount of energy to do so. Therefore seasoned wood will provide around double the amount of energy provided by freshly cut logs.
